How important the senses are for our daily lives becomes clear once again when they are completely taken away from us. After all, they give us orientation and enable us to experience the world. Visual merchandising also makes this its own and allows us to see, hear, feel and smell and thereby (mis)guides us.
In the special ROOM4SENSES area, visitors can experience the relevance of each individual sense: four senses, four rooms. In each room, a sense is made tangible and experienced how they affect us in the sales space and in marketing.
Let us take you on a journey of thought
Four students from the Stuttgart School of Advertising Design (Fachschule für Werbegestaltung Stuttgart) will take you on a mental journey: "Imagine you are in space, completely alone. You are flying weightlessly in absolute silence. In complete darkness, not even a gust of wind touches your skin, not a single smell is detected by your nose. Deprived of all your senses, the feeling of disorientation and insecurity quickly flows through you. Abandoned by your most important navigators, you feel helpless and disempowered. Unable to move forward confidently, you become aware of the importance of your senses, their necessity to navigate daily life and perceive our world."

More than tact: Pay attention to what you feel and consciously perceive with your heart and hand.
Our memory center is so strongly linked to our sense of smell that one thought is enough to influence and guide us.
What we hear influences our mood and emotions. Moments connect with soundscapes and become inseparable memories.
We see the world with all its shapes and colors, our eyes provide us with much of the information. But do you believe what you see?
